I came with doubts; I left with a lightness I hadn't felt in years. Odile has a way of listening and guiding that moved me deeply.
After just two sessions, I was sleeping deeply again. I never thought hypnosis could have such a fast, lasting effect.
A moving experience, in the best sense. Odile creates a space of total trust. I felt understood and safe from the first session.

Based in Mauritius, I welcome you into a warm, confidential setting. My practice draws on Ericksonian hypnosis, mindfulness and brief cognitive-behavioural therapies.

Here are the answers most often asked. Reach out for anything else on your mind.
Yes — therapeutic hypnosis is recognised by many medical institutions and is the subject of serious scientific research. Its effectiveness depends above all on your motivation and openness. It is not magic: it is collaborative work between you and your therapist.
Absolutely not. You stay conscious and in charge of yourself at every moment. Hypnosis is not sleep — it is a state of deep focus and relaxation in which you hear everything happening. You will never do anything that goes against your values.
Yes, particularly so. Teenagers often respond very well to hypnosis — school anxiety, sleep troubles, self-confidence, phobias. Parental consent is required for minors, and the first session can take place in the presence of a parent if needed.
The vast majority of people can enter a hypnotic state — it is a natural state we all experience daily (daydreaming, being absorbed in a film, driving on autopilot). Receptivity varies from person to person, but a trusting relationship with the therapist is often all it takes.
Odile visits patients in hospital to support pain management, preparation for surgery, reducing medical anxiety or psychological support during treatment. These visits are arranged on request and in coordination with the care team.
In French by preference, since that's the language I trained in — but I can also conduct sessions in English, depending on your comfort.
Yes. After a few sessions in person, it's entirely possible to continue remotely — by video — for flexibility and continuity of care.
